Axios Tampa Bay launched its new feature “Untold Tampa Bay” spotlighting the Chamber’s Minority Empowerment Program participant Javier Rodriguez, co-founder of Wing Boys.
Reporter Yacob Reyes explained how Rodriguez’ traumatic arrival in the U.S. as a 7 year old boy during the Mariel Boatlift in 1980 fuels his entrepreneurship dream.

Wing Boys founders Javier Rodriguez and Angelica Torres shared their family’s immigrant story, how the Chamber’s MEP program is helping them live the “American Dream” and even created a brand-new wing recipe – the Belcher 13.
